Former Members and Visiting

Senior System Engineer
Ms Aloisia Russo
Aloisia led research on origami solar sail technology under the EPSRC/Connecting Everything II grant (Ref: EP/S036113/1), focusing on origami-based deployable structures and additive manufacturing within the Zero-G Astrolab. Her work included the development of advanced 4D printing manufacturing techniques for large, deployable space structures. She has specialist expertise in origami-inspired large deployable systems and is now employed at DHV Technology, having previously worked with project partner Oxford Space Systems.
